As federally designated
critical infrastructure facilities, it is important for water and wastewater utilities to guard against potential disruptions caused by both natural disasters and human conduct. With increasing cyber-attacks and severe storms that have ravaged Texas in recent years, the WEAT Safety, Cyber, and Infrastructure Security Committee has produced the Operational Preparedness Symposium intended to provide a venue for knowledge sharing between utilities across Texas as well as local, state, and federal
government agencies.
